Saint Dominic
Saint Dominic was a very kind and gentle man who lived a long, long time ago in Spain. He wanted to help people and make sure they knew all about how much God loved them.
He was really, really good at talking to people and explaining things to them in a way that was easy to understand. People started calling him a "preacher" because he would go around to different towns and tell everyone about God's love.
One day, Saint Dominic decided to start a special group of people called the "Dominican Order," which was like a big family of people who all wanted to help others and teach them about God. They even wore special clothes that showed they were part of the group!
