ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Saints in Anglicanism

Well, you know how some people are really, really good and do great things for others and for God? In Anglicanism, we call those people saints. They are like the superheroes of the church!

Now, when you go to an Anglican church, you might see statues or pictures of these saints. We like to remember them and honor them because they are good examples for us to follow in our own lives.

But here's the thing, we don't pray to these saints like we would to God. We don't worship them, we just admire them and ask them to pray for us, kind of like asking a friend to pray for you when you're going through a tough time.

So, in short, saints in Anglicanism are good people that we respect and want to be like, but we don't pray to them like we do to God.
