Sakshi (Witness)

Sakshi means "witness" in Hindi. A sakshi is a person who is present to witness an event or situation and can be called upon to testify that it happened. It could be a court case where the sakshi is a witness to what was said or happened in the court, or it could be a religious ceremony where the sakshi is there to see the whole thing take place. By having a sakshi there, there is someone who can testify to what happened and provide evidence if needed.
