Salah (name)

Salah is a name that some people have, kind of like how you have a name too. It is a special name because it is also the name of one of the things that Muslims do to pray to Allah, which is the name they call God. When Muslims do salah, they first make sure they are clean and facing towards a special place called the Kaaba. Then they stand, bow, kneel, and sit in certain ways while saying special words and verses from the Quran, which is the holy book of Islam. They do this to show respect and thankfulness to Allah for all the good things in their life and to ask for his help and forgiveness when they do something wrong. So, Salah is both a name and a way to pray for Muslims.
