Sand pagoda

A sand pagoda is like a big sandcastle that looks like a temple or a tower that you might see in China or Japan. People can make them by piling wet sand into different shapes using buckets or their hands. They might decorate their sand pagodas with shells, seaweed or sticks to make them look pretty. Sand pagodas can be a lot of fun to build at the beach, but you should always be careful not to destroy natural habitats like sand dunes or disturb wildlife that might live in the sand.
