Sandwich printing

Okay kiddo, have you ever made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before? Well, sandwich printing is kind of like that but with a machine called a 3D printer.

Just like how we spread peanut butter and jelly onto bread to make a sandwich, a 3D printer spreads different materials, such as melted cheese or mustard, onto bread to make a sandwich.

The 3D printer is controlled by a computer program that tells it what shape to make the sandwich in. So instead of just a regular square-shaped sandwich, it can make fun shapes like stars or hearts.

Isn't that pretty cool? You can have a sandwich that looks like a star! But remember, this kind of printing is not for eating, so you can't actually take a bite out of a sandwich printed by a 3D printer.
