Santa Fé de Nuevo México is a place with a funny name that is in a country called Mexico. But it's not just any old place - it's a very special place! You know how you have your own room in your house, and your house is in your neighborhood, and your neighborhood is in your town? Well, Santa Fé de Nuevo México is like that - it's a town that is part of a bigger place called a state, which is part of an even bigger place called a country.

Santa Fé de Nuevo México used to belong to a group of people called Native Americans who lived there for a long time before anyone else came.
