Sardinian surnames

Sardinian surnames are the last names that people born in or from Sardinia, an island off the coast of Italy, have. These surnames usually come from their ancestors and usually have something to do with the place they are from. For example, if someone's ancestors came from a certain town or region, the last name could have something to do with that place. This could include things like the name of the town, the name of the mountain, or the name of a famous local family.
