Saucisson

Saucisson is like a long, fat, and yummy sausage that comes from France. It's made from really yummy pork meat that's ground up and mixed with spices and salt. Then, all of this gets put into a special casing, which is like a special wrapper made from animal intestines (Don't worry, it's cleaned really well!).

The saucisson is then left to dry out for a long time, sometimes up to several months! This is so that all of the flavors can get even tastier, and the sausage can become hard and easy to slice.

When it's time to eat saucisson, you can slice it into really thin pieces or thicker chunks, and enjoy it as a snack or part of a meal. It's especially yummy with some bread, cheese, and maybe even some fruit on the side!
