Saudi Arabia–United States relations

Saudi Arabia-United States relations are the strong and friendly political, economic, and security relations between Saudi Arabia, one of the Middle East’s most powerful countries, and the United States, one of the world’s most powerful countries. The two countries often cooperate on economic, energy, and security issues, although there have been disagreements between them in the past. The United States has provided military and economic aid to Saudi Arabia for many decades, and both countries have been important trading partners for each other. However, people in both countries have also disagreed on issues, such as human rights, trading agreements, and environmental policies.
