Schofield equation

The Schofield equation is a fancy math equation that helps us figure out approximately how many calories a person needs to eat every day to keep their body healthy and function properly like a superhero.

Our body needs energy to do everything like walking, running, jumping, and even sleeping. This energy comes from the food we eat which has calories, just like toys have batteries. Different people need different amounts of energy, depending on how old they are, how much they weigh, how tall they are, and how active they are.

The Schofield equation uses all these important factors like age, weight, height, and activity level to estimate how many calories our body needs. Scientists use a lot of complex math to create this equation, but the good news is we don't need to do any of the math ourselves, as there are lots of online calculators that can do it for us.

So, in short, the Schofield equation helps us know how much food our bodies need to stay healthy and happy!
