Scotism

Scotism is a philosophical system that was created by a man called Duns Scotus in the 1300s. He believed that everyone had the ability to make their own decisions, and that it was not necessary to rely on the teachings of the church to decide things. His teachings focused on reason, morality and ethics. He also believed that people should be able to develop their own opinions about things based on the evidence in front of them, rather than just accepting what other people say.
