Script breakdown

When people want to make a movie or a TV show, they start with a story idea. They turn that idea into a script which is a lot like a storybook. But instead of just reading it, people use it to make a movie or a show.

Before they can start making the movie or show, they need to do something called a script breakdown. This is like taking the script and breaking it down into smaller pieces to help them plan everything out.

For example, if the script says that a character drives a car, the people doing the breakdown will want to know what type of car it is, where it need to be filmed, and which actors will be in the scene. They will also want to know how long the scene will last for and what time of day it will be filmed.

This all helps to plan and organize everything so that they can make sure they have everything they need before they start filming. It's like making a big to-do list so everyone knows what they need to do and when they need to do it.

Once they have finished the script breakdown, they can start filming the movie or show. And because they have everything organized, they can work more efficiently and make sure that everything looks just right for the audience to enjoy!
