Second International Congress on Education of the Deaf

The second international congress on education of the deaf was a big meeting where people who were interested in teaching deaf children got together to share their ideas and learn from each other. Just like how you go to school to learn new things, these adults went to this congress to learn new ways to teach kids who can't hear very well. They talked about things like sign language, which is a way to communicate using your hands instead of your voice, and different ways to help deaf children learn to read and write. Basically, it was a big meeting for people who care about helping deaf children learn and grow.
