Second Italo–Abyssinian War

The Second Italo-Abyssinian War was a fight between two countries called Italy and Ethiopia that happened a long time ago in 1935-1936. Italy wanted to take over Ethiopia because they thought it would make them more powerful and important. But Ethiopia didn't want to be taken over and so they fought against Italy to keep their independence.

Italy was much bigger and stronger than Ethiopia, but the Ethiopian people were brave and fought hard to defend their country. They used spears, swords, and other traditional weapons, while Italy had guns and tanks. Even though Ethiopia fought bravely, they were eventually defeated by Italy and lost their independence.

Many people were upset about what happened, especially in other countries that thought it was wrong for Italy to try and take over Ethiopia. This war is important because it shows how powerful countries can sometimes try to take over smaller ones, and how it is important to fight for what you believe in and defend your independence.
