ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Secure channel

A secure channel is like a secret tunnel between two people that makes sure nobody else can listen in. It's like a phone call between two people but nobody else can hear what they're saying. It might be used to send important information like passwords or bank information so that nobody else can figure it out. The tunnel is created using special code so even if someone knows about the tunnel, they can't listen in.
