Semantic wiki

Semantic wiki is a type of web page that can store more information and make more connections between different items than a regular wiki. Semantic wikis are like regular wikis in that anyone can go to the website and add information or edit existing information. The difference is that semantic wikis use something called semantic markup language. This is a code you can use to add information like the date, who wrote something or what it is about. This extra information makes it easier for the wiki to be searched and it helps computers understand what the wiki is about so it can give more helpful results when people search it.
