Semidocumentary is a type of movie that combines elements from both documentary and fiction films. It usually contains interviews with real people who talk about their experiences, as in documentary films, and also has a storyline that is made up and acted out like a fictional film. For example, a semidocumentary might follow a group of real people who are going on a journey and the film follows their experiences, but it also has a made up story.
