Semitic people

Semitic people are a group of people who all speak languages that are related to or descended from the ancient Semitic language. They share many cultural and religious beliefs that also go back to ancient times. Examples of Semitic people are people who live in Israel, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and parts of Iraq. The language family is also related to Arabic, spoken by many people in the Middle East.
