Sentient beings are beings that can think and feel. In Buddhism, sentient beings are all living things, like people, animals, plants, and even tiny little insects. Buddhists believe that all of these sentient beings have a shared connection and should be respected, kindness, and cared for. This is because even though each being is different, they are all part of the same universe. Buddhists also believe that all of us have the potential to reach enlightenment, which is a state of understanding and peace.
