Separation anxiety

Hi there! Have you ever felt afraid or sad when your mommy or daddy leaves you somewhere? That's kind of like separation anxiety!

Separation anxiety is when kids or even animals get really scared when they're away from someone they love or their safe place, like their home. It's really normal and happens to a lot of people and pets.

Sometimes, separation anxiety can make you feel like you have butterflies in your tummy, like you want to cry or even throw a tantrum. You might feel scared or think that something bad will happen when you're away from your parents or your home.

But don't worry, there are lots of ways to help with separation anxiety. You can try practicing being away from mommy or daddy for short periods of time and then coming back. You can also try talking to someone about how you're feeling or doing things that make you happy to help you feel better when you're away from your loved ones.

Remember that it's okay to feel a little scared or sad sometimes, and that your mommy or daddy will always come back to you because they love you very much!
