Servo (radio control)

Hey there kiddo! Have you ever played with a remote control car or robot? Have you ever noticed how you can make it move forward and backward, left and right? That’s because of something called a servo!

A servo is like a little helper that can turn or move things for you. It’s usually connected to a radio control receiver that you hold in your hand, and when you move a stick or press a button on the receiver, that sends signals to the servo telling it how to move.

The servo has a little motor and gears inside it that allow it to turn or move something specific, like the wheels on your remote control car or the arm on your robot. It works by receiving electrical signals from the receiver and then turning the motor to the exact position that it needs to be in.

The cool thing about a servo is that you can control it very precisely. That means you can make your robot’s arm move just a little bit, or you can make your remote control car turn in a very tight circle. Plus, since the servo is small and lightweight, it’s perfect for using in toys, drones, and other small machines.

So, in short, a servo is like a little helper that you can control with a radio control receiver to make things move and turn exactly how you want them to!
