Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a guitar before? Well, a setar is kind of like a guitar but it comes from a different place in the world called Iran. It has a long, skinny neck and a round body with a special type of strings on it.

To play it, you have to use your fingers to pluck or strum the strings to make beautiful, peaceful sounds. It's really fun to play and lots of people in Iran love to play it and listen to it.
