Seven Heavenly Virtues

Well kiddo, have you ever heard of the term 'virtues'? It means good behavior or qualities that make us better people. Now there are seven virtues that some people believe are very special and holy, and they call them the 'Seven Heavenly Virtues'. Would you like to learn more about them?

The first virtue is called "Chastity". It means that a person believes in keeping their body and mind pure and clean. They don't engage in any inappropriate behavior that goes against their beliefs or values.

The second virtue is "Temperance". It means controlling our desires for things that we like. For example, if you want an extra cookie, but you know it's not good for you, and you say no, that's called temperance.

The third virtue is "Charity". This one's special because it's about being kind and helping others. It means sharing what you have with people who need it, without expecting anything back in return.

The fourth virtue is "Diligence". This means working hard to achieve your goals and not giving up. Even if you face difficulties, like a math problem that's too tough, you keep trying until you get it right.

The fifth virtue is "Patience". It means waiting calmly without getting angry or upset. Sometimes things take time, and we just have to wait for them. Like waiting for a cake to bake or waiting for your turn to play in the playground.

The sixth virtue is "Kindness". This one is about being friendly and caring towards others. It means treating everyone equally, whether they are your friends or not.

The last virtue is "Humility". This is a big word that means not bragging or being too proud of ourselves. It's good to be good at something, but we should remember that everybody has their talents, and we shouldn't think we are better than others.

So there you go, kiddo, those are the Seven Heavenly Virtues. They are important because they help us become better people and make the world a better place. Do you have any questions about them?
