Seven deacons

Okay kiddo, so you know how in some organizations or groups there are certain people who have special roles or jobs to help keep things running smoothly? Well, in the early Christian church, there were seven special helpers called deacons. They were chosen to help the church leaders with tasks like taking care of the poor, making sure everyone had enough food to eat, and helping people who were sick or in need.

The word "deacon" comes from a Greek word that means "servant" or "helper." These seven special helpers were chosen because they were known for being good and trustworthy people who could do the job well. They were also chosen because the church leaders wanted to make sure that everyone in the community was taken care of and nobody was left out.

The seven deacons were named Stephen, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas. Each of them had different jobs and responsibilities, but they all worked together to help the church and its members. They were like a team of superheroes, using their special powers to help people in need and make the world a better place.

So, that's the story of the seven deacons. They were chosen to help the church leaders with important tasks and make sure everyone in the community was taken care of. They worked together like a team to help people in need and make the world a better place.
