Sexual assault in the United States military

Sexual assault in the US military is when someone in the military touches or tries to touch someone else in a way that they don't want to be touched, or makes them do things they don't want to do. This can happen between people of different ranks.

It's against the rules for people in the military to have sex with each other if they are not married, and it's also against the rules for someone who is higher up in rank to force someone who is lower in rank to have sex with them.

Unfortunately, there have been many cases of sexual assault in the military. This is really bad, because people in the military should be working together to protect our country, not hurting each other.

When someone is sexually assaulted in the military, they can report it to their commanding officer or to a special group that was created to help people who have been sexually assaulted. The military takes reports of sexual assault very seriously, and they will investigate the situation to try to figure out if it really happened and who was responsible.

The military is working hard to prevent sexual assault from happening in the first place. They are training people to understand what is and isn't okay when it comes to touching other people, and they are trying to create a culture where everyone feels safe and respected.

If you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted in the military, it's important to tell someone so that they can get help.
