Shad Thames

Shad Thames is a place where a lot of buildings used to be factories where people would create things like soap or chocolate. But now, those factories have been turned into homes and shops. There used to be a big river right next to these factories, and the people who worked there would use boats to move things in and out. Nowadays, the river is still there but it's not used for boats anymore. Shad Thames is a special place because it has a really unique look and feel to it. It's like stepping back in time to when people used to make things by hand. Even though things have changed a lot, there's still a lot of history and character to this special place.
