ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sheath current filter

Do you know how sometimes you put on a coat to stay warm when it's chilly outside? Well, just like you wear a coat, electrical wires also have a protective coat around them called a sheath.

However, sometimes when electricity is flowing through the wires, it can create a "sheath current," which can cause problems and disruptions to other electronics around it.

So, to prevent this problem, engineers came up with something called a "sheath current filter." It's like a special jacket that goes on the wire's protective coat (sheath) to prevent any extra electrical currents from escaping and causing problems.

This filter is really important because it helps keep electronics and gadgets working well without any interruptions or damage!
