ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sherif

Sherif is a fancy word that means a person who studies how people think and act when they are put in groups. Imagine you and your friends want to build a big castle out of blocks. You all have different ideas about what the castle should look like and how to build it, right? A sherif would watch you and your friends build the castle and try to understand why you each have different ideas and how you work together to make decisions. They would also try to figure out why some people might argue or get upset when things don't go their way. So a sherif is kind of like a detective who studies how people act in a group.
