ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Shiloh (biblical figure)

Shiloh was a man who lived a very long time ago in a place called Israel. He was very special because he was chosen by God to be the leader of the Israelites, which were God's chosen people.

Shiloh had a big job to do, which was to help the Israelites obey God's laws and stay close to Him. He taught them about how God wants them to live and made sure they followed the rules.

People would come from all over to visit Shiloh and ask him questions about how to live a good life. They would bring gifts and sacrifices to show their respect for him and for God.

Shiloh was very important to the Israelites, and they looked up to him as a wise and righteous man. He helped them stay connected to God and live a good life.
