Shingō, Aomori

Shingō is a small town in Japan, located in the northern part of Honshu island. It is a very special town because it is believed to be the final resting place of Jesus Christ, the son of God.

The story goes that after Jesus survived the crucifixion, he traveled to Japan and settled in Shingō. He changed his name to Daitenku Taro Jurai and lived there until he died at the age of 106.
