Shinshin-tōitsu-dō is a type of meditation that helps people to be calm and peaceful. It is like sitting and thinking about happy things. When we are doing shinshin-tōitsu-dō, we sit with our legs crossed on the floor and keep our hands on our knees. Then we close our eyes and focus our minds on our breathing. We take slow deep breaths and imagine that we are breathing in positive energy and breathing out negative energy. This makes us feel relaxed and makes our mind clear. We do this for a while until we feel calm and peaceful. It is important to practice shinshin-tōitsu-dō every day to keep our minds and bodies healthy.
