So, you know how sometimes people make videos or posts on social media that are REALLY good and make lots of people happy or excited? Well, there's an award show called the Shorty Awards that celebrates those kinds of videos and posts!
It's called the Shorty Awards because the speeches that people give when they win are supposed to be really short, like just a few words long.
People who make great stuff on social media can be nominated for a Shorty Award by other people who think they're really good. And then lots of people vote on who should win the award.
There are lots of different categories for Shorty Awards, like Best Comedy or Best Marketing Campaign. And the winners get to stand on a big stage and give a really short speech thanking everyone who helped them make their great social media stuff!
