ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Siberian Route

The Siberian route is like a big road that goes across a very big country called Russia. This road is very special because it goes all the way from one part of Russia called Moscow to another part of Russia called Vladivostok, which is very far away on the other side of the country.

The road is important because it allows people, cars, trucks and trains to travel across the country. But it wasn't always easy to travel across Russia. Many years ago, the Siberian route was just a dirt road and people had to travel very slowly by horses or carts.

Eventually, people decided they needed a faster and easier way to travel across the country so they started to build a railway line alongside the Siberian route. This railway now connects many cities and towns across Russia and is the longest railway in the world!

Today, people still use the Siberian route and the railway to travel across the country. They can go on big trains with beds, food, and bathrooms that travel all the way from Moscow to Vladivostok. It's a great way to see the beautiful sights and landscapes of Russia.
