ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Simultaneous action selection

Simultaneous action selection is when two or more people decide how to act at the same time. It could be used in games like chess or checkers, or in activities like playing tag or rock-paper-scissors. In these games or activities, everyone involved makes their decision at the same time and then based on what everyone chose, the result of the game is determined.
