Sion's minimax theorem

Sion's minimax theorem is a mathematical result from the 1960's that tells you how to choose the best decision, that is, the one that leads to the best outcome. It says that if you are trying to decide between two or more options, then you should pick the one that gives you the best worst case outcome - in other words, the one that gives you the least bad outcome if everything goes wrong.
