Situationist International

The Situationist International (or “SI”) was an activist group that was active in the 1950s and 60s. Its goal was to fight against what they saw as wrong in society, like inequality and unfairness. They wanted to make change through artistic and political expressions. They organized public events, like protests, and they wrote articles and books to spread their ideas. They believed people should be able to express themselves freely and that everyone should have the right to choose what to do with their lives. People in the SI were considered "situationists".
