Skid-to-turn

Skid-to-turn is a driving technique that can help you turn your car smoothly and quickly. To do a skid-to-turn, you start by pressing down on the gas pedal while turning your steering wheel in the same direction you want the car to turn. As you press down on the gas, the car will start to swing to the side; this is called a skid. If you keep the car in the skid and keep the steering wheel turned in the same direction, eventually the car will spin around, and you’ll be able to turn the car in the direction you wanted it to go.
