Slingshot

A slingshot is a tool that you can use to shoot things! It is made of two pieces of wood or metal in a Y shape, a pocket in the middle to hold the object you want to shoot, and a rubber band or leather strap that connects the two ends together. When you pull the ends of the slingshot together, the rubber or leather band stretches and stores energy. When you let go, that stored energy is released, launching the object in the pocket at high speed.
