Snettisham Hoard
The Snettisham Hoard is a collection of very old things that were found underground in a place called Snettisham in England. These things were buried there a very long time ago, way before you were born!
The hoard was discovered by some people who were looking for things using special machines called metal detectors. They were very lucky to find it because it was hiding under the ground for so many years.
Now, what did they find exactly? They found lots and lots of shiny things made of a special metal called gold, which is very valuable. They also found things made of another metal called silver. These shiny things were mostly small and looked like buttons or pieces of jewelry.
