Snostorm

Snostorm is a type of very cold and snowy weather. Imagine being outside on a winter day when it's snowing so hard that you can barely see in front of your face. That's what a snostorm is like. It's like Mother Nature is shaking up a giant snow globe and pouring all of the snow out at once.

During a snostorm, the temperature outside is usually below freezing, which means that the snowflakes are very light and fluffy. They stick together and pile up quickly, creating drifts that can be taller than you are! The wind also plays a big role in a snostorm, blowing the snow around and making it even harder to see.

Snostorms can be dangerous if you're not prepared for them. You need to wear warm clothes and stay inside if you can. The snow can make it hard to drive or walk, so it's important to be careful and take your time if you have to go outside. But if you're lucky enough to be inside, a snostorm can be really fun to watch! You can curl up with a blanket and some hot chocolate and enjoy the snow as it piles up outside your window.
