Social cleansing

Social cleansing is when a community or government tries to change who lives in an area by getting rid of people they don't like. The government will try to do this by making it hard for people to stay in the area, such as making sure they don't have enough money for food, clothes, or a place to stay. They want the people who are looked down on by their society, such as people who are poor, homeless, from a different culture, or people who have disabilities, to leave. This is wrong because everyone should have a place to live, no matter who they are.
