Social heuristics

Social heuristics are the rules we use to help us make decisions quickly and easily. They're like mental shortcuts - so we don't have to think too much about every decision we make. For example, you might use the social heuristic "If others like it, it must be good" when deciding what movies to watch. Or you might use the heuristic "If it's expensive, it must be better" when shopping. Heuristics are usually based on our past experiences and can help us make decisions quickly.
