Social impact assessment

Social impact assessment is a way of looking at what might happen if something changes in our society, like if a new building is built or if there is a new law. It looks at how the change might affect people and the environment around it. For example, if a new building is built, it might mean that people have less green space to play in, so social impact assessment would look at how the change can affect the people who live nearby and the environment.
