A social organism is a group of animals or people that work together for a common purpose, like a hive of bees making honey or humans working in a school or business. They all help each other out and rely on each other to get the job done. Just like in a colony of ants, each ant has a specific job and depends on the other ants to get the job done. In humans, it might be different people doing different jobs that all come together to get a task done - like in a classroom, everyone has a part and they all help each other complete their tasks.
