Sociological Francoism is a type of political system that existed in Spain from the mid-1930s until 1975. It was developed by General Francisco Franco, who was in charge of the country after taking power in a military revolt. Under Sociological Francoism, the General was in charge of the government and had the power to make laws and decisions. Everyone else in Spain was expected to obey those laws and decisions, even if they didn't agree with them. This type of political system means that people in Spain could not have the same rights and freedoms that people in other countries could have.
