Sodality of Our Lady
Well, imagine you have a group of really good friends that love and care for each other very much. This group is called a sodality, which means they are a group of people that come together to do something good.
Now, the Sodality of Our Lady is a group specifically dedicated to being really good friends with Mary, the mother of Jesus. These special friends, or sodalists, want to honor Mary and show her how much they love and appreciate everything she did for Jesus. They also want to try to live their lives just like Mary, being kind, patient, loving, and devoted to God.
Sodalists in the Sodality of Our Lady may get together to pray, sing songs, and do things that would make Mary proud. They also try to help other people in need, just like Mary did when she helped her cousin Elizabeth and her son Jesus.
