Soft robotics

Soft robotics is a type of robotics that uses flexible and soft materials, like elastic and rubbery materials, instead of hard metals and plastics. Soft robotics is used to design robots that can interact more safely with people and their surroundings, like for use in medical applications or to help with difficult tasks in hazardous environments. Soft robotics can also help with movements that are too complicated for robots made of only hard materials. Instead of lots of complicated moving parts, soft robots usually have fewer motors or sensors, making them simpler to control and much more mobile.
