ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Solar access

Solar access is when the sun is able to shine on something without anything blocking it. It's like when you play outside on a sunny day and you can feel the warm sun on your skin.

If you imagine your house or your school, there may be tall buildings or trees that can block the sunlight from reaching some areas. This means that those areas might not get as much sunlight as the others.

Solar access is important for things like solar panels, which use the sun's energy to make electricity. If there are things blocking the sun, the solar panels might not work as well.

People might also use solar access to grow things like gardens or plants. The sun is important for plants to grow, so if there is no solar access, the plants might not be as healthy.

So, solar access is basically making sure that the sun can shine on whatever we want it to, without anything getting in the way.
