Soldering

Soldering is a process that can be used to join two pieces of metal together. It involves heating the metal with a very hot special tool, called a soldering iron, and then melting a metal called solder into the joint between the two pieces. When the solder cools, it sticks the pieces of metal together so that they are tightly connected.
